Lone Star Umpire Camps are premier baseball umpire camps that focus on training umpires to operate the CCA Baseball Manual - Four Umpire System for further advancement in NCAA Division I Men’s College Baseball. Lone Star Umpire Camps focuses on preparing students with classroom instruction including new and updated rules to the NCAA rule book.
Furthermore, Lone Star Umpire Camps’ classroom instruction provides in-depth training on replay protocol, strike-zone analysis, comprehensive situational management, live game evaluations, and much more.
Lone Star Umpire Camps is a place to expand your knowledge and further perfect your craft in efforts to advance your college umpiring career. With top instruction from our Lone Star Umpire Staff, each student shall be better equipped with the knowledge and the expertise in efforts to advance their college umpire career.

$495.00 per student.
Along with quality instruction and evaluation, each student receives a Lone Star Umpire Camp complimentary gear bag and t-shirt. Students are responsible for their own travel, hotel accommodations, and meals.
This camp is an exclusive umpire camp and is limited in the number of campers that can attend. Each application will be evaluated upon submission, and when you approve it, you will be informed of your approval and sent a link for payment.

Mike Garcia
Mike began his umpire career while in college umpiring youth baseball for 5 years. After taking a 5-year break, he returned to umpiring in 1993 umpiring High School and youth baseball. In 1997, Mike began his college career and has worked at all levels of college baseball. He has worked in the Southland, SWAC, Sun Belt conferences. He currently works for NJCAA Region XIV, Lone Star, Red River and SCAC conferences, and has worked or continues to work in non-conference games in the CUSA, AAC, Big XII and WAC. Mike has had the opportunity to work in two D1 conference tournaments, numerous NJCAA Regionals and Super Regionals, NAIA Conference and Regional tournaments and two NJCAA D3 World Series. Mike was recently elected to the Baseball Umpire Hall of Fame for Mexico, which recognizes Umpires in Mexico and Texas for their accomplishments in Umpiring. He is also the Umpire Coordinator for NJCAA Region XIV-South.

John White
Prior to being named the Frontier League Umpire Supervisor, White worked in baseball operations in Minor League Baseball from 2002-2016. After his career in Minor League Baseball, he attended and graduated from the Minor League Baseball Umpire Training Academy.
White worked for various organizations in professional baseball in the Frontier League, Northwest League, South Atlantic League, California League, Texas League, Golden Baseball League, Arizona Fall League, Southern League, and Pacific Coast League.
White’s accolades while in college baseball after graduating from the Minor League Baseball Umpire Training Academy include the 2019 and 2024 NCAA Division II South Regional, multiple conference tournaments, and the 2018 Summer Collegiate World Series while in the Northwoods League. He also umpires on staff across several NCAA Division I Conferences, and has umpired in the American Association (MLB Partner League), and Minor League Baseball as a Fill-In.
